MS Teams is designed with extensive options to simplify business communication. It extends space for people in the organization to connect via chat or video conferencing and also keeps the important files stored safely that can be shared via chats or through channels.
With the integration of MS Teams with KONDESK, users can connect and collaborate through chats or calls within the organization and can easily book appointments for clients too.
Scheduling an appointment using MICROSOFT TEAMS (Three Ways)
1. My Profile Section
- Go to My Profile and click on the “Appointment and Virtual Counselling” tab on the profile summary page.
- Scroll down to the calendar, click and choose the month and the day for which you intend to schedule an appointment and then select the time slot.
- The system will slide the ‘Add Appointment’ window to book a new appointment to block the selected day and time.
- Next, you will be required to fill in the details that are marked with the red asterisk.
- Then, select the mode using which you want to share the meeting invites with the client and then finally, check the MICROSOFT TEAMS option, when you intend to carry out the consultation on MS Teams.
2. Quick Action
- On the dashboard, click on Quick Action to open the window with multiple actions to choose from.
- From all the actions available, click on ‘Add New Appointment,’ and you will be redirected to the Appointment>> Calendar page.
- On the calendar, you can choose the month, day and time slot with a single or double click to open the ‘Add Appointment’ window.
- Next, you will be required to fill in all the mandatory details about the consultation and clients.
- According to the integrations that are active, you will have the option to choose the mode of conducting the meeting, click on the MICROSOFT TEAMS option, when you intend to carry out the consultation using MS Teams.
3. Appointment Module
- From the dashboard, go to the Appointment module and click on Calendar.
- Once you open the calendar you can choose the month, day and time slot with a single or double click to slide open the ‘Add Appointment’ window.
- Next, you will be required to fill in all the mandatory details about the consultation and clients.
- According to the active integrations, choose the mode of conducting a meeting; Click on the MICROSOFT TEAMS option, when you intend to carry out the consultation using MS Teams.
From the KONDESK dashboard page, click on Company and Select Integration.
The system will open a card view with all the available integrations in the CRM together, and also can be viewed under their respective categories.
Of all the available integrations, on the MICROSOFT TEAMS card, Click on button.
The system will open a window, the user, if doesn’t have an MS Teams account can click on “Click Here” to be redirected to the MS Teams sign up page to set up a new account.
If the user has an already existing account for MS TEAMS, they can only toggle on the button and click on Save to make the integration active.
Once the configuration is successful, the user will go to My Profile and click on Appointments and Virtual Counselling.
Next, the user will click on the MS TEAMS icon that will redirect them to the login page of MS TEAMS to select the account that is to be synced with KONDESK.
Upon successful integration, the user now can see all the scheduled meetings on the KONDESK calendar and easily add meetings directly as well.
